Hi, I’m Angie—fiber enthusiast, community builder, and proud owner of The Traveling Yarn Yogi, a mobile yarn shop and online store based in Georgia. I travel the Southeast in Purl, my beloved minibus-turned-yarn-shop, bringing the joy of indie-dyed yarns, kits, and notions directly to fiber lovers wherever they gather.
Who We Are
What started over six years ago as a personal passion for knitting quickly transformed into a full-blown adventure on wheels. Purl isn’t just a yarn shop—it’s a rolling celebration of creativity, connection, and craft. From knitting guilds and retreats to coffee shops, brew pubs, and local markets, you’ll find me popping up where the fiber community thrives.
But my focus goes beyond beautiful yarns. I also host engaging online classes that spotlight fun stitch techniques, curvy-girl-friendly patterns, and approachable projects for every skill level.
